The Gangaikonda Cholapuram Heritage & Classical Arts Festival celebrates the architectural brilliance and cultural legacy of the Chola Empire at one of Tamil Nadu's most significant historical monuments. The festival features Bharatanatyam performances, Carnatic music concerts, heritage walks, historical exhibitions, and lectures by archaeologists and historians.

The Ariyalur Mini Marathon – Run for Health encourages fitness, healthy living, and community participation through an exciting district-wide sporting event. Participants of all age groups compete in 5 km, 10 km, and family fun-run categories designed to promote physical wellness.
